The SNP Trade Union Group is made up of members of the Scottish National Party who are also trade union members. We believe that the best way to achieve fundamental rights for Scottish Workers is to argue for those rights within an independent Scotland.

Group members come fom many walks of life and are members of a wide variety of trade unions. We play a full and active part in SNP policy making processes and are at the forefront of campaigns on behalf of workers accross the country.

The group is also a major conduit between trade unions and the party. A complimentary group of backbench MSP's meet on a regular basis and the Trade Union Group is active in lobbying on behalf of members and their issue.
